Live Animal Shipping

Shipping Method

We ship all live animals via FedEx Priority Overnight to ensure the fastest, safest delivery possible. Your gecko will arrive the next business day after shipment.

FedEx Hub Pickup Only

All live animal shipments must be picked up at your nearest FedEx hub facility.We do not offer home delivery for live animals to ensure:

• Your gecko is not left on a doorstep in potentially unsafe temperatures
• You can pick up your gecko as early as possible on delivery day
• Someone is immediately available to receive and care for the animal
• Maximum safety and minimal transit time for the animal

We will coordinate with you to find your nearest FedEx hub location and ensure you're available to pick up on the delivery date.

Weather-Dependent Shipping

We only ship live animals when weather permits. This means:

• No shipping when temperatures at origin, destination, or in transit are below 40°F or above 85°F
• No shipping during severe weather events (storms, extreme heat/cold, etc.)
• Shipments may be delayed if unsafe weather conditions develop before ship date
• We reserve the right to delay shipment if we determine weather conditions are unsafe

Your gecko's safety is our top priority. We will work with you to find the next available safe shipping window if weather delays occur.

Shipping Days

We typically ship live animals Monday through Wednesday only to ensure next-day delivery and avoid weekend delays. Special arrangements may be made on a case-by-case basis.

Live Arrival Guarantee

We guarantee live arrival when:

• You pick up the animal at the FedEx hub within 2 hours of delivery notification
• You immediately notify us (with photo/video evidence) of any issues upon pickup
• Weather conditions were safe at time of shipment

If these conditions are met and there is a problem, we will work with you to resolve it immediately, including potential replacement or refund.

Product Shipping

Feeders, cultures, isopods, springtails, supplies, and equipment ship via standard methods:

• Shipping costs calculated at checkout based on weight and destination
• Delivery options: USPS, UPS, or FedEx depending on item and location
• Live cultures (isopods, springtails) ship with 72-hour heat/cold packs when needed
• Standard delivery time: 2-5 business days for most locations

Order Processing

• Orders are processed within 1-3 business days
• You will receive tracking information via email once your order ships
• For live animal orders, we will contact you directly to coordinate shipping date and hub pickup
